SPGN 402 - International Teaching II (NEW COURSE)


Students will have the opportunity to practice teaching non-English and/or English speaking children and develop an understanding of different learning styles, cultures, societies, family, language, history, and education through a semester-long teaching practicum in a foreign classroom. They will learn about characteristics of culutrally and linguistically diverse student, evidence-based teaching methods, and teachers’ roles and responsibilities.

Credit Hours: 6 hrs
Prerequisites: 48-credit hours and department permission
Graduate Credit: This is an undergraduate course available to graduate students for graduate credit.
Notes: Students may register for both SPGN 401: International Teaching I and SPGN 402: International Teachinig II for a total of 12 credits.
