EDT 362 - Lighting Design: Stage and Beyond


The theory and practice of lighting design, primarily for the stage, but also in areas of dance, entertainment design, architectural lighting, music, clubs and restaurant lighting design. Topics will include basic electrical theory, lighting instruments, lighting consoles and dimmers, color theory, drafting light plots, and practices in stage lighting.
