AVFO 170 - Aviation Ground Instruction


Basic ground instruction in aerodynamics, navigation, federal aviation regulations, meteorology, and flight procedures directed toward preparation for the Private Pilot written examination. This is a required course for admission into the Aviation Flight Technology  and Aviation Management Technology  majors.

Credit 3 hrs May not be repeated for additional credit

Corequisite(s) AVFO 175a  

Class-Level Restriction Undergraduate standing

Notes -
The AVFO 175a corequisite is only required for Aviation Flight Technology  Intent students, all other students will require an override to enroll.
