HIST 444 - China and its Nomadic Neighbors This course traces the evolution of relations between the Chinese empire and the peoples of northern and central Asia between 100 BCE-1700 CE. It will include the economics and geographical factors that influenced the interactions between sedentary Chinese and nomadic peoples.
