Lean Six Sigma [Graduate Certificate]


New Program [Fall 2021]


The Graduate Certificate in Lean Six Sigma, a fully online program, focuses on learning the key concepts, principles, and Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodology methods. With a good understanding, students have an opportunity to apply what they have learned to resolve or improve real-world problems. The course learning and project work are fully online. Also, after completing this certificate program, students can enroll in the Quality Management [M.S.] .

A student with ASQ (American Society for Quality) or equivalent professional certifications is eligible to apply for a waiver of degree requirements. Students must complete a minimum of 12 credit hours toward their graduate certificate. See advisor for details.

This is a designated STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) program.

Admission Requirements

Minimum Graduate School Requirements

A four-year baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or an equivalent degree from a non-U.S. institution. In addition, a minimum cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale, or 3.0 in the last half of the undergraduate program, is required for full admission. Applicants who do not meet minimum admission requirements may be considered for conditional admission. See International Admissions for international applicant requirements.
