Long-Term Care Administration [Graduate Certificate]


New Program [Fall 2021]


The Graduate Certificate in Long-Term Care Administration is ideal for healthcare professionals who seek to broaden or advance their career opportunities in home health programs, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing homes, hospice, or other long-term care organizations. The 14-15 credit hour curriculum focuses on core competencies critical for leadership and management positions in the growing field of long-term services and supports.

After this program, eligible students will be prepared to sit for the Nursing Home Administrator licensure exam.

Admission Requirements

Minimum Graduate School Requirements

A four-year baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or an equivalent degree from a non-U.S. institution. In addition, a minimum cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale, or 3.0 in the last half of the undergraduate program, is required for full admission. Applicants who do not meet minimum admission requirements may be considered for conditional admission. See International Admissions for international applicant requirements.
