Deadline: June 10th. The OTCAS application will open on January 2nd and close on June 10th.
Complete and submit the OTCAS application (otcas.org). If you are applying as a combined occupational therapy applicant choose the Combined Occupational Therapy (COT) Application. Items required in the OTCAS application include:
- Official transcripts of all education beyond high school. Required for every institution granting credit. (International Transcripts – Post-secondary transcripts from a non-U.S. institution must be submitted directly to one of four approved evaluation services for a detailed, course by course report. See International Admission Checklist for additional information.) Applicants should allow 2-6 weeks for the evaluation and verification to be completed.
- GRE Results, including Verbal, Quantitative, and Writing Scores. Submit to EMU OTCAS 4442. *This requirement is waived for the 2022 application cycle.
- Three letters of recommendation through OTCAS.
- Observation/Volunteer hours submitted through OTCAS. *This requirement is waived for the 2022 application cycle. It is strongly encouraged that an applicant without observation/volunteer hours watch this video from AOTA and document this as 1 hour under the Observation Hours section of OTCAS.
- Supporting Documentation through OTCAS including completed experiences, achievements, licenses and certifications, and personal staement.
- EMU Occupational Therapy Program Supplemental Processing Fee of $35 paid through this link.
