Component 2 - Undergraduate University Application and Admission

Apply to and be accepted as an undergraduate student at EMU. The CP is a second admission program, meaning applicants must be admitted to EMU before applying to the CP. Admission to EMU is not a guarantee of admission to the CP. MS CP applicants should designate Post-Bacc, non-degree on their application.

Students cannot be admitted to the Graduate School with Dietetics as their major unless they have been admitted to the MS CP through the Dietetics-specific application process. Students do not need a prior degree in nutrition, and the GRE is not required to be eligible for the MS CP.

Please see EMU Admissions for general requirements and the application. Applicants must submit official transcripts from every institution from which they received credit.

Regarding International Transcripts: Post-secondary transcripts from non-U.S. institutions must be submitted directly to one of four approved evaluation services for a detailed, course-by-course report. See International Admission Checklist for additional information. Applicants should allow 2-6 weeks for the evaluation to be completed.

Admission to the University is not a guarantee of entry into the Dietetics Program.
