SCM 386 Purchasing and Supply Management


This course focuses on implementation of the entire purchasing process from evaluating purchasing need to effective supplier management. Topics will be presented in three major areas: tactical, strategic, and electronic. Particular emphasis is placed on supplier selection/evaluation, in/outsourcing decisions, supplier relationships, and ethical issues in purchasing and supply management.
