MGMT 661 Creativity and Innovation within Organizations


This course will develop an understanding of fostering creativity and innovation within organizations. Understanding the creative process is essential for working with and leading creative people and developing a climate that nurtures innovation. Overall, this course focuses on creativity and innovation by exploring relationships between creativity, innovation, and organizational processes. Students will understand the nature of individual and group creativity and organizational processes that foster innovation. Students explore and apply the models of creativity and innovation using a variety of readings, used cases, discussions, and exercises/projects.
