MGMT 662 Strategic Corporate LeadershipThis course provides an understanding of the contemporary issues and perspectives on leadership in organizations across industries. Leading a group or a business is a complex process that involves vision, the ability to make tough decisions under pressure and uncertainty, and the ability to motivate others toward the vision. This course focuses on the relationship between leadership and decision-making using frameworks from recent research as well as established theories and practices to develop leadership skills. The course will use a mix of readings, discussions, case studies, team exercises, and reflective exercises to improve leadership skills.
