SMGT 255 - Social Psychology of Sport


A required course for sport management majors which examines the psychological factors that influence sport performance. The student will learn the theories and practical applications of the factors that influence athletes and coaches, such as coaching leadership, efficacy beliefs within sport group contexts, morality in sport, the coach-athlete relationship, and team cohesion.
