DTC 330 - Nutrition Therapy I


Students will be introduced to the Nutrition Care Process, components of nutrition screening and assessment; topics in medical nutrition therapy relevant to gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, diabetes and pulmonary disease will be included as will an introduction to renal disease, acid-based balance and nutrition support with emphasis with an emphasis on enternal support.

Credit Hours: 3 hrs
Prerequisite:   and   and department permission
Class Restrictions: Junior, Senior, and Second Bacc.
Major Restrictions: Only students in the Dietetics Major (IDTC)  and M.S. in Dietetics Programs may enroll in this course.
