DTC 370 - Nutrition Therapy II


Development, implementation, and evaluation of nutrition care plans for individuals requiring medical nutrition therapy for liver disease, cancer, weight management, transplant, HIV-AIDS, metabolic stress including burns, wounds, sepsis, pediatric nutrition and total parenteral nutrition (TPN).

Credit Hours: 3 hrs
Prerequisite:   and department permission
Class Restrictions: Junior, Senior, and Second Bacc.
Major Restrictions: Only students in Dietetics Major (IDTC)  and M.S. in Dietetics Programs may enroll in this course.
Course Revisions: Change to Course Description “Students receive the second in a series of didactic instructions related to various diseases states and means of medical nutrition therapy.
