DTC 430 - Nutrition Therapy III
Examination of federal, state, and local nutrition programs; conduct needs assessment in community and design appropriate education program.
Credit Hours: 3 hrs
Prerequisite: and Department Permission
Class Restrictions: Junior, Senior, Second Bacc.
Major Restrictions: Students in the Dietetics Major (IDTC) program may only enroll in this course.
Course Revisions: Course title change from “Nutrition Therapy III” to “Community Nutrition,” and to course description “The focus of this course is on community-based nutrition policies and programs and nutrition education. Students will examine federal, state, and local nutrition programs, as well as plan a nutrition education program”
Students now have to get a C or Better in DTC 202 to enroll in this course and this course is no longer restricted to Dietetics Majors.
