SWRK 315 - Theoretical Bases for Social Work Practice


This course critically examines and integrates theoretical concepts, examines the fit between people and their environments and includes assessment of differential opportunities and resources available for different groups of people. The course helps students selectively critique social work and psychological theories to assess functioning of various size systems and select form contrasting theories of human behavior in terms of their relevance to oppressed and vulnerable populations.
