CHEM 312 - Teaching Elementary Chemistry This course is designed for prospective elementary teachers. Students will develop a meaningful and functional understanding of key chemistry concepts and their interrelations through a variety of hands-on experiences. Practical methods for conducting demonstrations, using models, planning laboratory experiences, managing standard scientific equipment, and establishing safe laboratory environments will be developed and discussed.
