ARTS 300 - Color Theory This is an introductory course in which students learn the basics of subtractive color. A series of lectures and related studio problems are utilized to develop an understanding of color systems, the characteristics of color, and how to control the visual aspects of color through both mixture and juxtaposition. As students gain a greater understanding of the subject matter, more individualized assignments may be introduced.
