ASTR 503 - Astronomy I
A nonmathematical descriptive course in astronomy to acquaint the teacher with the general field of astronomy. Many of the topics considered can be used in the elementary classroom. A study of the sun and its family of planets, as well as the stars and nebulae in the universe beyond the solar system.
