HLAD 512 - Health Insurance


This is a survey of public and private sector health insurance in the United States. The course covers aspects of private health insurance, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Medicare, Medicaid, government regulation of health insurance, health insurance reform, such as the Affordable Care Act, and the problem of uninsured populations in the United States.
