URED 812 - Children and Families in Poverty Examines the impact of poverty and homelessness on children, youth, families, and communities. The course analysis poverty in relation to public policy, inequality, race and gender discrimination, and addresses critical issues confronting urban educators. There is an emphasis on educational advocacy and the creation of inclusive and diverse learning communities.
Credit Hours: 3 hrs Grade Mode: Normal (A-F)
