ANTH 385 - Culture of Japan An analysis of Japanese culture from a comparative perspective. The course presents the ethnological approach to cross-cultural understanding as applied to the study of Japanese culture. By contrasting and comparing insider and outsider analyses of Japanese behavior, the dynamics of cross-cultural research are documented and discussed.
