This course will provide students with an athletic training experience under the direct supervision of a certified athletic trainer. The content of the course will involve situational orthopedic assessments (upper & lower extremity), review of therapeutic modalities, skill development in orthotic fabrication, imaging and special testing methods, nutritional aspects of sport, substance abuse counseling, and exposure to general medical situations.
