GEOG 317 - History and Geography of Spanish America

An interdisciplinary presentation of the history and geography of Spanish America with emphasis on political, cultural and socioeconomic forces from the conquest to the present. Similarities and differences within and among nations are stressed as are the special relationships that exist between the nations and the United States.
