HIST 480 - The American Revolution A survey of the transformation of the colonies into the United States of America, with emphasis on British policies and colonial response, the military and diplomatic conduct of the War for Independence, and the impact of the independence on the thirteen states. Attention to historical interpretations will be stressed.
