HSEM 309 - Natural Hazard Mitigation The purpose of natural hazard mitigation is to introduce the concepts and skills of hazard mitigation and recovery planning, vulnerability risk analysis and implementation of a community-wide program, and to relate natural hazard mitigation processes to disaster planning.
