PC 406 - Colloids and Interfaces The basics of surface and interfacial physical chemistry are presented and tied to the important elements of coating and dispersions technology. Surface tension, capillarity, thermodynamics, surface films on liquids, contact angles, wetting, detergency, friction, lubrication, electrical double layer, stabilization, comminution, dispersions, and emulsions are the main topics covered.
