ANTH 445W - Culture Analysis Seminar | GEWI A culminating course examining “culture” - the key subject matter of cultural anthropology - in reference to the foundational disciplinary perspectives of holism, comparativism, relativism. The course gives particular attention to the acquisition of cultural reflexivity, and to the distinction between ethnography and ethnology as it affects both research practice and its rhetorical expressions in discipline-specific writing.
