HLAD 323 - Introduction to Epidemiology

Epidemiology is the study of the distribution of determinants and antecedents of health and disease in human populations. The introductory course will examine the key concepts, contextual factors, and application of epidemiology in public health and across the health professions. Drawing from current public health issues and examples, the course is designed to provide students with a foundation for understanding the basic methods and tools used by epidemiologists to study the health populations.
