PHIL 425W - Theories of Justice | GEWI


This is an advanced course in political philosophy. Its central question is, How must a society be internally-ordered if it is to be just? Various theories of justice will be critically examined, possibly including liberal egalitarianism, utilitarianism, libertarianism, socialism, and communitarianism. The course may also incorporate an historical or global perspective.

Credit 3 hrs May not be repeated for additional credit
