ARTS 695 - Theory in Art This course investigates the theory, methodology and criticism associated with modern and postmodern ideas. Readings, discussion and regular writing assignments ask students to examine the relationship of these ideas to larger issues such as race, sexuality, mass media and contemporary culture. The seminar will be offered once a year, alternating semesters with the second ART696 Seminar in Contemporary Art course.
Credit 3 hrs May be repeated for additional credit Grade Mode Normal (A-F)
