NURS 653 - Advanced Adult-Gerontology Nursing I - CNS This course focuses on diagnostic reasoning and treatment decision-making using nursing theory and research. Diagnostic reason and treatment decision-making are used to assist the skilled clinician in making advanced clinical judgments of evidence based nursing interventions with acute and/or chronically ill adult from young adult hood to geriatric. Course combines theoretical content with student-selected and instructor-approved preceptor guided clinical practice. Two-hour seminar, three- hour clinical (120 clock hours precepted clinical)
