BIO 226 - Global Ecology and the Environment


This course is an introduction to basic ecological principles and their application to current global environmental issues and conservation practices. The effect of the human population explosion on the conservation and use of resources and biodiversity is emphasized.

Credit 4 hrs May not be repeated for additional credit

Prerequisite(s) BIO 107 ESSC 107 BIO 105 , BIO 106 , (BIO 110  and BIO 111 ), or (BIO 110  and BIO 112 A minimum grade of “C” is required in all prerequisite courses
