CNST 436 - Heavy/Highway Construction Means and Methods The study of the means and methods of construction used in the heavy/highway construction industry. Soil, aggregate, concrete, and asphalt properties will be studied, and their associated design theories. Means and methods of construction will also be examined, including earthwork excavation, hauling and compaction. Operational characteristics of heavy equipment will be evaluated.
