CTAT 245 - A Survey of American Cinema This course is a chronological survey of the development of American cinema with an emphasis on the roles played by technological innovations, corporate development, government intervention and the emergence of a dominant mode of film production practice. Key films by important directors from the entire period will be screened and discussed.
