HLED 380 - Psychosocial Health and Service Learning The mental, emotional, social and spiritual dimensions of health will be explored. Psychosocial factors such as optimism, hopefulness, social support, quality of life, stress and coping, depression, and anxiety will be studied, focusing on effective health education interventions to promote health and prevent disease. Students will explore self-assessment of their psychosocial health and complete a group service-learning project.
