PSCI 270 - Relativity, Atomic and Nuclear Physics This course completes the introductory sequence in college-level, algebra-based physics. Topics include relativity, quantum physics, atomic structure and models, molecules, nuclear fusion and cosmology. Applications include lasers, holography, scanning tunneling microscopes and magnetic resonance imaging. Emphasis is placed on understanding and comprehension as well as the ability to solve relevant mathematical problems.
