PSCI 309 - Thermal Science and Heat Transfer
An introduction to the concepts of thermal energy, heat, and temperature. Topics include temperature scales, thermal expansion, specific heat, latent heat, and ideal gas model, conduction, convection, and radiation. Emphasis is placed on understanding and comprehension as well as the ability to solve relevant mathematical problems.
