SPEI 449 - Beyond Behavior An examination of systemic topics beyond the scope of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) that impact the well-being of youth and adolescents with emotional-behavioral impairments: social, cultural and environmental factors; home disruptions; internalized disorders; externalized disorders; and pervasive disorders.

Prerequisite(s) SPEI 301 , SPGN 390 , SPGN 395 , and SPGN 461 Admission to Phase I of the Initial Teacher Preparation Program is required for enrollment in this course.
