BIO 419 - Ecosystem Ecology This course introduces fundamentals in ecosystem ecology through lecture, discussion, field and laboratory studies, and a weekend field trip. Topics covered include ecosystem processes, functions, and services, with a focus on energy flow and material cycling; links between ecosystem structure and function; trophic dynamics; spatial and temporal dynamics; climate change and other human impacts.
