STAT 573 - Statistical Data Analysis Data analysis using statistical packages such as SAS and MINITAB. Analysis of variance; multivariate regression; stepwise regression; analysis of categorical data, including nonparametric tests, goodness-of-fit tests and tests for normality. Emphasis is on application and understanding of the basic assumptions in testing data. Completion of a calculus-based probability and statistics course is assumed.
