ECE 302 - Child Centered Teaching and Learning This course teaches students to design and implement developmentally appropriate programs and curriculum for children from birth through age eight. A historical overview of early childhood programs and differentiated instruction to meet the needs of young children is the focus. An inquiry approach will be used to assist the student in broadening the scope of curriculum

Prerequisites - ECE 214 and ECE 215 Corequisites - ECE 303 Restriction by Major - Elementary Education Early Childhood Comprehensive [BS] or Children and Families [BS] Restriction by Class - Junior or Senior standing
Notes - While enrolled in this course, students will complete a practicum in the EMU Children’s Institute for three hours a week.
