ESSC 450 - Lake and Coastal Processes Analysis of the geological and physical processes of North American coasts including the Great Lakes. WE will discuss the origin and distribution of coastal environments; past, current, future natural and anthropogenic modifications and related environmental issues; potential energy resources like waves, tides and currents.
