PLSC 367 - Latin American Politics A study of patterns and selected cases in Latin American politics, with special attention to social movements and grassroots perspectives. Students develop a comparative framework for analyzing domestic and international forces affecting politics and regime change. Themes include neocolonialism, authoritarianism and democracy, reform and revolution, indigenous and women’s movements, globalization.
