SPAI 240 - Pre-Clinical Experiences - Autism Spectrum Disorders


The purposes of pre-clinical experiences in the area of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) are twofold. First they provide students with the opportunity to observe in a variety of programs and work with individuals with autism across the spectrum ranging in functioning levels and age. Secondly, students will meet together to discuss observations, insights, and concerns related to their experiences. In this course, education programs for students with ASD will be discussed and site visits will be made.

Credit 3 hrs May not be repeated for additional credit

Restriction by Class - Sophomore standing or above, including Second Bachelor and Post. Bacc. Teacher Certification
