SPAI 396 - Family Dynamics with Autism Spectrum Disorders Explores impact of persons with autism spectrum disorder on family development. Highlights benefits of including people with autism and family members as lifelong participants, experts, and partners of the diagnostic/intervention team. Analyzes cases of collaboration in service delivery. Course topics will include the sociology of the family, the experience of parenting a child with a disability, and the perspectives of siblings of family members with disabilities.
