BIO 556 - Freshwater Algae


A survey of the freshwater algal divisions; their morphology, taxonomy, ecology and economic importance. Lectures will emphasize an evolutionary approach. Laboratory work will stress the identification of representative algal taxa. A class field study will be required. Cross-listed with
