BIO 582 - Ichthyology A study of some aspects of the biology, classification, distribution, and evolution of fishes. Attention is given to the morphology, physiology, behavior, natural history and ecology of fishes through work in lecture, laboratory and in the field. Specific experience in the identification of the freshwater fishes of the Great Lakes region is provided in addition to a general survey of some marine fish families.
