CHEM 565 - Nuclear Chemistry The course will cover topics such as radioactive decay, decay systematics, nuclear models and nuclear reactions. Applications of radioactivity to chemical problems will be discussed. Techniques of nuclear chemistry, nuclear processes as chemical probes and other such topics will be covered. A discussion of the preparation and properties of transplutonium elements will be included.
