ORPR 615 - Lower Extremity Prosthetics I Causes of lower limb amputation and its prosthetic management are presented. Effects of amputation level and the bio-mechanical constraints that different prosthetic designs impose on patients is examined. There is a significant laboratory component to this course, involving the assessment, fabrication, and fitting of Trans-tibial prostheses.
